3. Creating Official Passport & Visa Photos (35 × 45 mm)
Government ID applications, passports, and visas require strict photo proportions. The international biometric standard is 35 mm wide by 45 mm high (a 7:9 aspect ratio).
To prepare your passport photo with ShapeMyImage:
- Select the Passport Photo preset in the editor.
- Use the Face Guide overlay to align your head:
- Position the top of your hair near the upper crown guideline.
- Ensure your chin aligns with the lower chin guideline.
- Center your eyes horizontally across the eye level marker.
- Use the Zoom slider (100% to 300%) and drag the preview to position your face centered and straight.
- Click Download to export your high-resolution passport photo. (Guidelines are automatically hidden on export).
