2. Your Photos Never Leave Your Device
When you use ShapeMyImage, every action—including loading an image, cropping, adjusting corner curvature, zooming, and downloading—takes place entirely on your device inside your web browser.
- No File Uploads: Your images are opened locally on your phone, tablet, or computer. They are never sent to external servers or cloud storage.
- No Cloud Retention: We operate zero servers or databases that store user images. No human and no automated system ever views your pictures.
- Session Discard: When you refresh or close your browser tab, your photo is immediately discarded from temporary browser memory.
3. Biometric & Facial Photo Safety
ShapeMyImage provides standard framing guides for passport and visa pictures. These visual guidelines are on-screen overlays displayed to help you center your photo. We do not scan your face, collect biometric data, or perform facial recognition of any kind.
4. No Accounts, No Personal Data Collected
You can use ShapeMyImage freely without creating an account, providing an email address, or logging in. We do not ask for personal information, names, payment details, or phone numbers.
5. Device Preferences (Theme Setting)
The only information saved in your web browser is your visual theme preference (Dark Mode or Light Mode). This ensures that your chosen appearance is remembered when you return. It contains no identifying information and can be cleared at any time via your browser settings.
